How to fix a sofa that is too big? Reduce furniture size

On paper, after talking about it, I have drawn the floor plan to scale. There they met at a neat right angle, nestled comfortably in a corner, close to the coffee table. Sitting on a 7-foot sofa along the 8½-foot-long half wall, the twins are on the adjacent long wall.
This arrangement provides a perfect view of the diagonal flat screen, forming a comfortable TV and gaming area.

After the mover put down the sofa, I found my mistake and reminded me again that I feel lucky for the world and I don't do rocket science. I once thought that an 8½-foot-long wall would be enough to hold a 7-foot-long sofa. But I can't consider the depth of the other sofa, because the arm of that cheap Sofas - Panana.co.uk protrudes 3 feet from the back wall, which means its partner needs to start where the other sofa stops-3 feet down.
